Prof. (Dr.) Faizan Mustafa

Professor (Dr.) Faizan Mustafa has previously held the positions of founder Vice-Chancellor at National Law University, Orissa and Vice-Chancellor of NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad for ten years. Known for his institution-building skills, he has also been Dean of the Faculty of Law at Aligarh Muslim University and Registrar of AMU. His research papers have been cited by the Supreme Court.

He has also taken the novel initiative of taking Law outside the classroom to the ordinary citizens of the country through his Legal Awareness Web Series (LAWS) which has some 5 crore views and over seven lakh subscribers.

Dr. Rose Varghese

Dr. Rose Varghese is a distinguished legal educator. She is a graduate from Kerala Law Academy Law College, Thiruvananthapuram, pursued Post Graduation in Law from the School of Legal Studies at Cochin University of Science and Technology, earned an M. Phil in Law from the National Law School of India University, Bangalore, and a Ph.D. from the Faculty of Law, University of Delhi. She began her career in 1976 as an attorney at the High Court of Kerala. She transitioned to academia in 1985.

Prof. (Dr.) Yogesh Pratap Singh

Professor Yogesh Pratap Singh holds an LL.M. from NLSIU, Bangalore and LL.B. from University of Allahabad. His doctoral degree on judicial dissent is recognized as a significant contribution to the voting pattern of judges in the Supreme Court of India. His notable contributions include serving as Deputy Registrar, Research at the Supreme Court of India, and being part of the founding team of KIIT Law School and NLU Odisha. He later served as the Registrar and Vice-Chancellor In-Charge of NLU Odisha. Dr. Singh's research and publications have significantly impacted legal scholarship, and his book on judicial dissent has received widespread recognition.

Prof. (Dr.) Indrajit Dube

Prof. Indrajit Dube’s scholarly pursuits encompass a wide range of domains, including corporate law and governance, corporate environmental regulations, artificial intelligence and data governance, and competition issues. He has spearheaded several research projects and consultancies of national significance that have led to transformative changes in institutions and laws, many of which have been referenced in judicial decisions. His research contributions are extensively cited in h-index journals and have been published across India, Europe, the United States, and Canada.
Prof. Dube’s books are recognized as essential resources in the most prestigious law libraries globally, including those at Harvard, Stanford, and Yale. His expertise has earned him a place on the editorial boards of several international journals focusing on corporate governance. He has also served as a reviewer for these journals, contributing to the advancement of the field.
A distinguished educator, Prof. Dube has conducted and delivered lectures in numerous Management Development Programs (MDPs) and capacity-building initiatives. His insights and knowledge have been sought by law schools both within India and internationally, as well as by professional bodies, business associations, law firms, and expert organizations. He is regularly invited to deliver memorial lectures, keynote speeches, conduct short-term courses, and moderate scholarly discussions.
Prof. Dube has been a member of several national committees established by the Government of India, where his contributions have been instrumental in shaping policies and regulations. He is also an esteemed academic member of the European Corporate Governance Institute in Brussels, the Corporate Law Teachers’ Association in Australia, and INSOL International in the UK.
His academic journey includes serving as a founding faculty member at National Law University Jodhpur and the Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law at the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, where he played a pivotal role in establishing these institutions as centers of excellence.

Prof. (Dr.) Ashok R. Patil

Dr. Patil is a distinguished legal scholar with expertise in Consumer Welfare Laws, Law of Torts, Mediation, and Insurance Law. He holds a Ph.D. in Consumer Law and has over 25 years of teaching experience. Dr. Patil served as a Lecturer and Principal at KLEs Bellad Law College before joining NLSIU in 2008, where he became a Professor and administered the Chair on Consumer Law & Practice. He founded the Online Consumer Mediation Centre at NLSIU and has presented research in over 15 countries. He received numerous awards, including the Legal Education Innovation Award and fellowships from prestigious institutions like the University of Western Australia. Dr. Patil has contributed extensively to legal education and consumer protection, serving on various national and international committees and publishing influential research and books, including a recent commentary on the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Mr. C.V. Raghu

Formerly the Group General Counsel for Motherson Group, led the legal, secretarial, regulatory, compliance, and governance functions globally. While he has stepped down from this role to pursue other interests, he remains a Group Legal Advisor in a consultative capacity and provides advisory services to various companies, serving as an Independent/Non-Executive Director on multiple boards.
