Vijayashankar Nagarajarao, widely known as Naavi, is a distinguished expert in cyber law, data protection, and cybersecurity in India. As the Chairman of FDPPI, he has been at the forefront of shaping digital privacy compliance standards and advocating for robust data governance. His contributions include the development of the Data Governance and Protection Standard of India (DGPSI) and thought leadership in emerging areas like Neuro Rights and AI Regulation. A pioneer in cyber law, Naavi authored India's first book (1999) and first e-book (2003) on Cyber Laws, along with several other authoritative publications, including Guardians of Privacy, a comprehensive guide on DPDPA and DGPSI. He is the founder of Cyber Law College, India’s pioneering virtual institution for cyber law education, and has been a visiting faculty at NALSAR Hyderabad and IIM Udaipur. |

Antaraa Vasudev is the founder of Civis, a nonprofit platform that works to enable effective dialogue between governments and citizens on draft laws and policies. She started her career understanding how technology can drive civic engagement during India’s general elections and is driven to help build trust between citizens and government through the use of technology. Vasudev has previously worked at the international nonprofit Asia Society, where she handled policy-related public education programs and track-II dialogues between ministers in the Union Council of Ministers and Kevin Rudd, the former Prime Minister of Australia. |
